A Pretty Easy Christmas Table

Welcome to the blog today.

I have created a pretty easy table to share with you, or a pretty and easy tablescape. :-)

I have been loading my cart at Oriental Trading again. :-)

I spotted these silver chargers and knew they would work nicely with my silver Pottery Barn hurricanes.

I then layered the OT red paper plates.

And then these pretty OT paper napkins.
(All source links listed below.)

What do you think so far?

The "easy" is that there will be neither dish nor napkin washing when the meal is over. yay!

The crystal water goblets...they are OT plastic. I will wash those so that I can reuse them. They are thick and sturdy, and excellent for a party where you want both pretty and easy.

You all know that I am a white tablecloth girl. It is a simple way to up the elegance factor for any occasion.

I added some greenery and large red glass ornaments for holiday flair.

Little by little I made this paper plate affair look more elegant.

Sometimes you just want to be able to have a group in for luncheon and not have a huge cleanup afterwards whether it be family, friends, church ladies, etc.

Besides being an easy table to put together, this one will be easy to cleanup. I can toss the plates and napkins. Then I can soak my stainless and goblets in hot soapy water. The chargers can be dunked in hot soapy water to remove any smudges or crumbs. Then I can toss this machine washable tablecloth into the washing machine.

I love to entertain...but I also love easy.
And, it must be pretty. :-)

Here are a few more views...

It is possible to have an pretty table with disposables and a few of your pretty things.

I also like for people to know that one does not need several sets of expensive china in order to set pretty tables.

If one has a set of white or ivory ceramic, porcelain, earthenware, or vintage plates one can do fun things with colorful paper plates and napkins. Just use a touch of creativity.

I like for new brides, or those with tight budgets, to know that they do not need a cabinet full of expensive dishes to have fun with their tables.

Many thanks to Oriental Trading for sponsoring this post.
I am an OT ambassador, which means that in exchange for products of my choice I use those products in my post.
